The ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) is a standardized procedure for assessment of functional speaking ablility. It is a prestigious, nationally recognized assessment used by many Fortune 500 companies, U.S. government agencies and academic institutions. The OPI is administered by phone in a live interview format and proctored by the Foreign Language instructional Center. (A fee is paid directly to ACTFL.) Individuals are then rated based on ACTFL criteria in one of ten levels of speaking ability. Learn more at About Proficiency Testing. This is ideal for the learner with personal enrichment or travel in mind. Spanish for Healthcare Professionals I - July 22 & 23, 2013

This eight-hour course enables persons who are working or preparing for a career in the healthcare field to develop vocabulary, phrases and cultural insights that are useful in everyday situations.
