The Agricultural Experiment Station at UMES is part of the School of Agricultural and Natural Sciences (SANS).

Research is broadly divided into the following areas:

• Sustainable Agriculture
• Human Health and Safety
• Food Science

The research conducted through the Experiment Station provides valuable opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students to work closely with faculty on projects of regional, national and international importance.
