The mission of the UMES Office of Public Relations is to strengthen the public perception of the University as a forward-looking center of teaching, research and extension work.
The office of Public Relations is responsible for managing the University's communication and relationships with its various publics.
The Public Relations staff works closely with the administration in planning a comprehensive and strategic public relations program based upon specific goals of the University.
